TTS returns to Ukraine
At the beginning of 2020, a contract was signed for the supply of a biomass boiler for the eastern Ukrainian city of Bilopillja.
The implementation of the entire project is provided by the company Ukrajinská energetická, which belongs to the Slovak group Národná energetická, which operates biomass heating plants in seven Slovak cities. TTS boilers is a supplier of a key technology – wood biomass boilers type VESKO-B with an heat power of 2.0 MW.
For TTS, this will be the third boiler delivered in Ukraine. Between 2012 and 2013, it installed two boilers for burning straw bales, which are used to heat large chicken farms. However, due to the deteriorating security situation after the Ukrainian revolution a year later and the subsequent conflict in the east of the country, it stopped other projects for a while. Now the Třebíč company is returning to Ukraine.
The city of Bilopillja is located in the Sumy region in northeastern Ukraine and is home to 18,000 people. The current central heating system uses only natural gas, its price increases every year. The new wood biomass boiler will produce approximately 25,000 GJ of heat per year and will replace the original heat production from natural gas by more than 90%.
